No doubt many organizations leveraging the power of social networking to connect with their thousand of followers and keep them engaging. Live tweeting make many people keep engaging and exited about what is going on. There are lots of benefit, but see how it make the organization famous very fast globally.
An epilepsy patient allowed a hospital’s social media manager to tweet throughout his brain surgery operation. Geoff Nestor, from Milwaukee, US, was awake for part the operation and gave doctors feedback on the procedure as Aurora Health Care’s social media manager sat in the public –tweeting about the what was happening.
Thousand of the people on the social networking site tuned in to read the fascinating coverage, with some followers asking questions about the procedure. At the end of the operation, Aurora Health tweeted. “Surgery in now complete the team is bandaging Geoff’s head and preparing him for recovery in the ICU”.
See, how some tweets made thousands of followers globally to the hospital due to live tweeting. I am in India and never heard about the Hospital name but due to tweets not only me but must be there are lots of others who came to know about the Hospitals also made many followers in one day.
